Suntico has developed valuable intellectual property that solves the problem of delivering
highly configurable, high performance multi-tenant cloud business software. The company
operates through separate business units separating the process of creating and exploiting
the intellectual property.
The Suntico Platform makes this technology accessible under licence
to Cloud Service Publishers and Brokers. To provide focus, and corporate flexibility, the
commercial side of the business will be organised as dedicated business units to address
particular market opportunities.
At the heart of Suntico's patent pending technology is a unique and
proprietary Object Relational Mapping (ORM) capability. This ORM offers
extremely high performance, which until now has always been a serious
limitation of otherwise promising ORM technology.
Consequently, this has enabled Suntico to develop a radical new methodology
(called Simply Configure) for building sophisticated business software
applications without the need for programmers. An important element of this
methodology (called Simply Connect) is the ability to enable multiple
applications to share data without needing to enforce common data exchange
standards.
Suntico currently operates through three business units. There is a
commercial Business Software Unit, an R&D Unit, and a Production Unit. The
company plans other commercial units. The Business Software Unit provides
solutions to Sage software customers through an established distribution
channel of business partners. The R&D Unit creates the core technology, while
the Production Unit manages volume production of items such as reusable
connectors to existing software systems. This structure provides focus as well
as corporate flexibility.
